School Leadership Team

The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group that meets monthly to discuss issues of importance to the entire school community. Parents, students, and teachers are all represented, as is the school’s administration. Our mandate from the Department of Education dictates that we must compile and approve the school’s annual Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) and also advise the Principal on major budgetary issues. Beyond that, we serve as a regular forum for school-wide issues where everyone has an equal voice.

Visitors are welcome to attend and the Minutes of the meetings are posted below for your review. Please contact the Chair of the committee, Tom Henning, at thenning@hsmse.org if you would like to attend a meeting or if you have any further questions. Parents can propose Agenda Items through the PTA President.
