March is Women’s History Month.   This week’s theme is Engineering and we recognize Sheila Marie Evans Widnall (born July 13, 1938) is Secretary of the Air Force. In that role she is responsible for the current and future readiness of the Air Force to accomplish its missions. Her other responsibilities include logistical support, maintenance, research and development and welfare of personnel. In previous positions with the Air Force, Dr. Widnall served on the USAF Academy Board of Visitors, and on advisory committees to Military Airlift Command and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Dr. Widnall, a faculty member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for 28 years, became an associate provost at the university in January 1992.
Morgan Stanley has rescheduled to visit HSMSE again on Tuesday, March 28 from 3:45 – 5:00 pm to discuss interviewing skills.  All seniors are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided.

The deadline to submit the Summer Youth Employment Application online has been extended to Friday, March 31.  Anyone still interested in working this summer, please see Mr. Burgan in B16 or Ms. Ortiz in room B20 for application information.
Freshmen: If you are interested in applying to high schools with available 10th grade seats in Round 2 of the High School admissions process, please see Ms. Patterson.  All applications are due back by Monday, March 27th.
SENIORS:  Prom payments are due TODAY!
