HSMSE offers students multiple ways to learn about and discover the college that best suits their needs and preferences. These opportunities include:
On-Campus Rep. Visits
Each year, representatives from colleges from all across the nation come to engage with students and share insights about their respective institutions. This allows students to have personalized conversations with the representatives, gaining the information they seek on a more individualized basis.
11th Grade Spring Semester College Fair
In partnership with A Philip Randolph HS, the Spring College Fair allows Juniors to meet representatives from over 60 colleges to get information about their programs. The Spring College Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 20th 2024.
APR & HSMSE College Admissions Panel
Families have the opportunity to hear from college admissions representatives about what they are looking for in an applicant and how students can build a strong applicant profile.
College Trips
A college campus tour provides prospective students with firsthand insights into the physical environment, academic facilities, campus culture, and resources, aiding them in making informed decisions about their potential future at the institution. Below are the upcoming college trips for Spring 2024.
Junior Trip to Yale University (50 students max) : April 9
Junior Class Trip to Princeton & The College of New Jersey (grade-wide): April 11
