ACT, SAT and Test Prep
SAT Day
The in-school, SAT Day will take place on March 13th, 2024. This exam is free for students, and they have already been registered to take the exam.
ACT VS SAT?
Colleges use ACT and SAT scores for admissions and merit-based scholarships. Most colleges do not prefer one test over the other. We recommend doing a practice test of each, chose the one you prefer taking, and put your time and energy into studying for that exam.
SAT SUBJECT EXAMS
Most competitive colleges require two or three SAT Subject exams. Engineering programs usually require a math exam (level I or level II) and a physical science exam (chemistry or physics). Most liberal arts colleges are flexible in which SAT Subject exam they require. Please check the website of any college you are considering.
SAT Subject tests can be taken the same year as an AP exam. Review the chart below for timing.
